Location Intelligence - Next Level of Business Intelligence: "Any time, Any place, Any how"
Since the emergence of Google Maps users have come to expect geographical data and mapping functions in their day to day processes. Geospatial is becoming pervasive in almost all sectors. In the near future the ability to mine, analyze and report on large volumes of geospatial data will be regarded as a standard function in many business applications. What you might not know is that the Oracle suite of products includes geospatial functionality that probably already exists on your database application server. This presentation will explain what functionality is available and how you can leverage it for your organization using standards-based integration with SOA, Business Intelligence and portals. A live demonstration will be used to introduce Oracle Map Viewer functionality integrated with first-class address navigation and accepting data feeds from other systems.
