A Series of Case Studies Demonstrating Procure to Pay Process
health Alliance offer shared core business services functioning within a vision of centres of excellence. It is their aim to be the first choice in service provision for New Zealand healthcare providers.
Hosted currently on their 11.5.9 instance of Oracle are Counties Manakau District Health Board, Waitemata District Health Board, and Taranaki District Health Board. These implementations support the delivery of financials, supply chain, and procurement services.
To realise their vision of excellence, healthAlliance focuses on a program of continuous process efficiency. This looks towards using the Oracle application suite to facilitate automation and electronic process development.
Some of the key objectives of automation are to deliver to customers:
1. the means to improve efficiency of staff resources - to be customer focused, not system focused
2. faster processing times
3. improved data accuracy and integrity
4. single processes across all DHB’s
5. more business critical information
This presentation will show a series of case studies to demonstrate the achievements of these within the capabilities of the standard Oracle e-business suite for the procure to pay process.
