This workshop will be focusing on demonstrating the heterogeneous capabilities of replication between MySQL and an Oracle Database.
This is a hands-on-workshop, and as such you will be guided through the process of installation, configuration and execution of Oracle GoldenGate and Oracle Data Integrator running with both Oracle and MySQL with the intent of getting you quickly started on using these products.
After attending this workshop, you can go on to build:
• Real-time data integrations
• Industry-focused solutions
• Customer facing demos
• Proof-of-concepts [POCs]
• Pilot implementations
• Reference architectures.

MACHINE SPECIFICATIONS:
Attendee laptops must meet the following minimum hardware/software requirements:
Minimum 3GB RAM. 15GB free disk spaceVirtualBox (the latest version)

Attendees will be given a VirtualBox image containing the ODI 11g and GoldenGate software along with required toolset, database and data sets for the labs.
