President’s Report from 2017 AGM

2017 was a great year for NZOUG with another successful OTN Days (Now called ODC Days) at Wellington and Auckland as part of the 2017 ODC APAC Tour in the region. Also, this year NZOUG leaded the organisation of the first APAC Webinar tour that had over 50 sessions dictated by over 20 international speakers from all around the globe. As a result, it achieved over 11k participants and the videos generated by this event had over 177k views. Please feel free to access our content at the Youtube channel “OracleMania”.

2018 will be another special year for us, with another participation on the ODC APAC Tour later in the year, also organising the second version of the Webinar Tour from July to August and many meetups events around New Zealand. NZOUG needs to continue with it growth and for that your support is more than appreciated, our goal for 2017 is to increase our membership numbers by at least 50. We, the committee are working hard to ensure that each of the members are able to achieve the best ROI from their membership, as such your participation and collaboration is always important, so feel free to submit your comments and suggestions regarding this matter at any time via our web page contact form (http://nzoug.org/contact).
