Achieving Process Automation with Oracle Business Process Management and Policy Automation

Businesses are looking for ways to reduce manual intervention in core processes such as application eligibility. They struggle because the applications may have complex policies that are difficult to automate and they require human intervention to manually check the applicants evidence for authenticity. With Oracle Policy Automation (OPA), organisations can convert policies written in natural language into executable rules. These rules can be exposed as a web interface, or invoked as an open standard such as web service, of Java API. Oracle Business Process Management (BPM) allows business users to model the process after the applicant has been screened by OPA. These models can be converted into executable code so evidence validation can be executed. For tasks that can't be automated, human tasks can be created so the process can be monitored. This session will demonstrate OPA and BPM working together to achieve straight through processing for complex business processes.
