Oracle Financials R12 Implementation at TrustPower - an Overview of What we Did, How we Did it, and What we Learnt

Oracle Financials at TrustPower In 2009 TrustPower implemented Oracle Financials Release 12. Kevin Palmer is the Financial Controller at TrustPower, and will talk about the project from a business perspective. Kevin will discuss TrustPower’s pre-Oracle systems, why Oracle? , key objectives from the project, and give an overview of the specific requirements to be met by the project. Irene Griffith was the Oracle Functional Consultant for the project, and will talk about the project from an Oracle perspective. She will cover the modules that were implemented (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and Cash
Management), the key differences between R12 and 11i for these modules, and what that meant to the project. She will also discuss what was needed to meet Kevin’s key requirements, and the tools used along the way.
Between them they will talk about some of the things that worked well, what the challenges were, and some of the lessons learnt.
