Hyperion Planning was implemented at Environment Waikato in 2008 in just under six months. The project was a joint venture between Environment Waikato and
Indigo, an Oracle Hyperion Partner. It completed on time and on budget. This presentation reveals how a collaboration between a vendor and a customer can be
highly successful. It will also provide an update on the successful upgrade of Hyperion Planning from V9.3 to 11.1 in 2009.

Erica Harris is the Senior Oracle DBA at Environment Waikato, New Zealand. She has been managing Oracle databases since 1996 and these days is primarily responsible for upgrades, data fixes, performance tuning, performance troubleshooting and system integration. She is also responsible for the administration of Hyperion Interactive Reporting and Hyperion Planning and indulges her developer tendencies by creating applications using Application Express. Erica is the Secretary of the New Zealand Oracle Users Group and has been involved in the Oracle user community in New Zealand since 1998.
