As part of the NZOUG March 2013 Conference in Wellington, we are organising 3 1-Day training sessions. You can already start planning your extra day in Wellington if you want to attend one of these special training events. The sessions will be held throughout Wellington in a Campus style event on the 20th of March.

Developing Mobile Applications Hands-on Lab with Chris Muir

Location: Oracle, Level 10 Todd Building, 93-97 Customhouse Quay

In this hands-on lab, learn how to create an Oracle Application Development Framework (Oracle ADF) Mobile application that runs on-device as a hybrid application, using an HTML5-based user interface. The session also covers how to access data from SOAP or REST based web services and integrate with device services such as calendar, contacts and camera through data controls.  You will use Oracle JDeveloper to create this Oracle ADF Mobile application and deploy/test the application on a mobile device simulator.

This mastering back and recovery training session starts with the fundamental concepts regarding backup and recovery strategies and then moves onto more intermediate and advanced topics, discussion tips and best practice. The most important rule with respect to data is to never put yourself in an unrecoverable situation. The importance of this guideline cannot be stressed enough, that's why without any doubt, backup and recovery are the most essential skills you need to have to become an OCA, OCP or OCM or a successful DBA.
