Business Processes are the heart of any business. For many organizations a business process is constrained by the IT environment and the functionality the IT systems provide. Customizing these systems can be a difficult as they are either too old, too inflexible, or too costly to change. The byproduct is people start to develop workarounds to compensate for this inadequacy. Before long you have ad-hoc undocumented processes with little visibility what the complete process is. This presentation focuses on how Oracle BPM Suite can help organizations address business process inefficiencies by reducing manual intervention and automating them. It shows how BPM Suite can provide a platform to extend existing IT assets therefore reducing impact on existing infrastructure. Current and future state can be modeled to gain insight to process bottlenecks. Using Oracle BPM Suite takes these models into executable code therefore automating the process and reducing manual intervention.
