Disaster Recovery Strategies for Oracle Standard Edition
This session overviews approaches to implementing enterprise level Disaster Recovery solutions for Oracle SE databases (including RAC architectures) with the aim of raising the awareness of the DR options that can be harnessed by budget conscious users.
It provides a high level overview and goes into technical detail of a standby database, what it is used for and what the options are.
The focus is on Oracle SE rather than Enterprise Edition and Data Guard.
