The University of Canterbury needed better compliance and increased efficiency in the procure-to-pay business process. To achieve this, a web hosted supplier catalogue solution was adopted and integrated to Oracle Purchasing. The project had to be implemented quickly but the integration had to be extremely robust. A perfect opportunity for some ‘SOA adoption’, but what does this mean and how do you do it?
