Airways financial systems are reliable, but fair to say most are nearing their life expectancy. At the top of the replacement list was budgeting and reporting. Airways budgeting system was universally disliked, tying up significant resources, and delivering an outcome that becomes rapidly out of date. Similarly, reporting was becoming far too complex; data rich but
information poor. After completing the obligatory reviews, Airways selected Oracle Hyperion as the product tool set to address budgeting, forecasting and reporting issues, and Indigo NZ Limited as the implementation partner.
