He has more than 18 years experience in systems design, software development, architecture and data modeling and over 12 years experience in spatial integration. As e-Spatial is industry and technology independent, Matti needs to maintain a constant process of research and development. This ensures that e-Spatial is always aware of the implication of new technologies, development environments and standards. Matti is also a recognized expert on New Zealand geospatial standards. Matti holds a Masters degree of Computer Sciences from Joensuu University, Finland, 1990.
